SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA

SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA

No longer will fools be called noble in Nigeria,
Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.
For wisdom is too high for a fool.
A fool speaks nonsense,
And his heart inclines toward wickedness:
To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord,
To keep the hungry person unsatisfied
And to withhold drink from the thirsty.
As for a rogue, his weapons are evil;
He devises wicked schemes
To destroy the afflicted with slander,
Nigeria, you will no longer see a fierce people,
A people of unintelligible speech which no one comprehends,
or Of a stammering tongue which no one understands
will no longer rule us.
O Lord, be gracious to us; we have waited for You.
Be our strength every morning,
Our salvation also in the time of distress.
May our leaders reign righteously & rule justly.
May our leaders become noble
May they devise noble plans and stand by noble plans.
May they walk righteously and speak with sincerity,
May they reject unjust gain and shake their hands so that they Hold no bribe.
May they become one who stops their ears from hearing about bloodshed and shut their eyes from looking upon evil.
May our leaders dwell on the heights,
May their refuge be the impregnable rock;
May their bread be given them, may their water will be sure.
Let only leaders after your own heart O'Lord, rule Nigeria henceforth.
All these we ask in Jesus Mighty Name. ( AMEN)

OPEN LETTER TO DR. JOE OKEI-ODUMAKIN

OPEN LETTER
TO DR. JOE OKEI-ODUMAKIN

Dear Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin,

Congratulations on your appointment to the National Conference and kudos for the works you are doing in Nigeria; i have no doubt that you wouldn't let us down.

The Nigerian Immigration Service should be made to refund/return every single kobo they collected from every applicant of Saturday's exam / interview.

For God's sake, why collect money from the un-employed, why sell that number of forms when you have limited spaces: why take innocent lives, why?.
It is daylight robbery, it is condemnable. Government should hold Nigerian Immigration responsible for the payment of hospital bills for injured applicants and settlement to the families of the lost. These lives were lost because of their bad planning & its inhumane.
Please, The Nigerian government should also put a ban on the military harassment on civilians. Today, its the immigration officers flogging & harassing job applicants, tomorrow its the road safety officials beating up road users.
It is appalling to see traffic wardens, Lastma officials beaten up drivers and passengers. Before now, it used to be the Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Army and Police, now its all the men in uniform. You will be surprised that even KAI members and Man 'o' War beat up Nigerians.

We have had enough and we can't take more. We need a country where if anything happens to a Nigerian, its not only Hon. Abike Dabiri that should rise but the government will rise up to the defence of its citizenry.

God bless you and the work you are doing.
